THE CHALLENGE: ProCure Cancer Centers provide the very latest innovations in cancer treatment in centers across the country. Based in New York, our clients were originally working on branding with Draftfcb in Chicago, but felt like small fish in very big pond – who couldn’t sync up on budget or timing. When ProCure needed lots of materials quickly for the launch of a center in Oklahoma, they turned to Spring13.
OUR APPROACH: Spring13 drew on years of pharmaceutical experience and multi-channel expertise to modify the brand to work for all media. We produced sales force collateral, patient materials, educational pieces for partnering physicians, welcome kits, signage, letterhead and html emails. We also crafted patient testimonial videos and medical animations for the website.
To better communicate with children about a potentially scary experience, Spring13 created the character Kuddles the koala and featured him in a coloring book with original illustration and copy. The book helped demystify the ProCure treatment and centers, and also served as a conversation starter for kids and their parents or doctors.
In order to handle high-volume work while maximizing budget, Spring13 assembled scalable teams of writers, designers, project managers, animators, printers and videographers that could ramp up or level out depending on changing work flow.
THE RESULTS: Following the successful opening of the Oklahoma center, Spring13 further streamlined processes to modify and print high-volume materials for the next grand opening of the Chicago ProCure Center, as well as all future openings – all while managing revisions and reprints for other locations. All materials were produced on budget and on time, and all billing was organized in QuickBooks to allow for easy cost breakdowns by project.
